Hi! My name is Hannah Billiard, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is thankful that you are here! It likely means you are in the process of embarking on a journey toward growth. I currently work with children ages three and older, teens, adults, and families. I treat a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, trauma, executive dysfunction, relationship conflict, challenges with adjustment/transition, and more. I believe wholeheartedly that the best therapeutic work is done in the context of a free and creative space, where each client gets to show up authentically as themselves. My intention as a therapist is to be a safe relationship for my clients that ultimately fosters healing and growth. In my work with clients, I use an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, and Play Therapy treatment techniques. I have extensive training in play therapy and am working to become a Registered Play Therapist. My goal for my clients is that they leave each week feeling more secure in who they are and confident to take on the challenges of life. I believe that every human is hardwired with intrinsic courage, compassion, and resilience and that therapy is a tool to help access what is already within.
